activate the monster ring!!

i would've gotten this written sooner but-
a. i had to monitor late TAKS testers.
b. i had to stop at burger house b/c i was too lazy to cook.
c. i had to eat what i purchased.
d. all of the above
duh, that was too easy...wish their tests were! i absolutely love the burger house! the smell of those fries! i am pavlov's dog-conditioned to salivate when they are within 3 ft of my body.

so, as you can tell, i got to monitor the test again today.

actively monitoring? ...is THAT what you had said? 
because i'm pretty sure i thought you had said...

... 'activate the monster ring!' so i did , and you'll never believe it, we had no monsters walk into our classroom!!

or was it
...active lemon drink, because i'll have one, no ice.

maybe it was
...act like a money tree-wait, i'm a teacher.

or
oscillate your mom's toe ring..but that would just be weird.

actively monitoring...wait, is that a hyperbole or gross exaggeration for something? it was slow as usual. really nothing active about it. to me actively monitoring my way would be a huge distraction to the testers! i mean, i would have stop and go ping pong paddles like in benny and joon, and there would be random sliding and stopping like kramer from seinfeld...

yep, it was super slow today, in fact, ever seen those cartoons where the character gets woozy, like when they're in the desert and start to see mirages? well, at one point when i looked at the tree across the street (merely a glance), it looked like it was waving at me. perhaps i blushed a bit (no, not really, but would you think i was crazy if i waved back?).

so once i got home, i also finished a special project. remember when i had mentioned writing the word 'babies' on my hand? i will share it in hopes that my friend is, as a matter of fact NOT reading the blog yet. i have made this jewelry more as a gag gift than anything.

umm, necklace AND earrings! check THAT out! don't be jealous. i'll be taking orders later.

the babies are very special because at the camp i used to work at, my last summer i thought it would be fun to have a unique prank, and this was it. i bought bunches of these creepy babies and then i got a couple of valiant warriors to help me plant them in strategic locations in the leadership cabin...peeking from the shower caddy, in retainer cases, under beds, in fans, hanging in the screen door, in shoes, etc. a few at a time, throughout the term. i still get comments about people finding them to this day. my hope is that linds will wear them out in public with pride...often.  (ok, i know that won't happen, but maybe at least once?)
