is your measuring cup half full or half empty? either is fine unless it's completely full..then ya' got too much!

They finally came!
whew! i can let the boys get their toys out again
"mama! that you?" i reassured them that it was me and not strangers in uniform tramping through again. they looked at me when i rounded the corner and said these people came through and kept looking at the ceiling. i think chaco was annoyed that they didn't stick around to dote over him, because he was a little pouty.

i got up early today to stop by walmart for a birthday card. when i pulled into the parking lot, i saw lots of people at their cars with suitcases and stuff and at first it looked like it might be refugees from the fire down south waiting for someone. and immediately i got choked up and my eyes got watery-emotional? i believe so. when i came out, i saw a big tour bus and those people were all lined up to get on...WINSTAR CASINO TRIP. no wasted tears.

and today while i was at school, i got a call from my car person, and he found a car for me in houston. things are rolling along quickly. in fact, as soon as i put the period on that sentence, i just got another call from him, and he is coming to see me tomorrow to get some details ironed out. the car he found is silver. get excited. note to self: put headrests back in pontiac! i took them out when i first got the car because they obstructed my vision.

the same book that had the catalog for animal stuff had this awesome toy i am thinking about getting for the boys...it is supposed to be brain stimulation...perhaps to keep them from chewing carpet or finding other things to decimate (to reduce something by 10%)..i'd rather they destroy completely and eat up all of the evidence...only that would cause blockage. the problem is they decimate by starting the job and leaving frayed ends. the other day i was looking around and noticed that not only the carpet is a problem, but the corners of the kick board are all gnawed at almost all of the corners...boo.
one of them flips open as the dog rolls the spinner thing and then the discs move from one slot to another
i talked to my brother this afternoon and he will be getting out of the hospital hopefully in the next couple of days, but then getting back to work could take a few weeks. that's no fun.

and i may or may not have just come home and decided to make lemon poppy-seed muffins. only the mix called for 1/2 cup of milk...and i used the dry milk and accidentally poured in the whole cup of milk; i didn't realize it until i was stirring and thinking it was much too thin to be muffin mix...oops! so luckily i had some corn bread mix i threw in and thickened it up and honestly-they taste phenomenal!
yes, i did pull out the thanksgiving decorations early-don't judge! problem? type it to my screen (equivalent of say it to my face on the 'puter)

i just feel like the thanksgiving decorations get the raw end of the deal!

alright, keep your dogs stimulated, keep your eyes out for a silver hyundai, and read your recipes!
