i feel guilty if i don't feed the digital fish...

is it weird that every time i view this page i feed the fish? seriously..they are captivating.

last night as i was falling to sleep, my brain began to think of lots of old shows we used to watch. let's see if you watched some of the same things we did: bj and the bear, dukes of hazard(given), hogan's heroes, mash (only when the baby sitter was there), cagney and lacey, knight rider, simon and simon, greatest american hero, fantasy island, alf, magnum p.i....i know those were mostly 80's, and then these two songs from the 70s being with babysitters and mom and dad's 8tracks: blueberry hill, and don't it make my brown eyes blue-they've been playing in my head off and on over the last few weeks.

this morning when i turned on the news they were talking about what a cute story it was that this lady in her 80's and an older man were getting married (it was the lady's first time to be married). i didn't think it was cute. but it was interesting. apparently she was a nun. if you want to read about it click here.

today i was craving a chili's quesadilla explosion salad. so i started looking up recipes online. did you realize that it is the #2 worst for you salad? WOAH! i could leave the quesadillas out because i rarely eat them anyway..i just love the salad! so i found a recipe that cuts way down on the calories and it sounds amazing. so i went to the grocery store to get some of the ingredients i was lacking.
wait one minute! THAT was not one of the ingredients!
i also got a bag of marshmallows to make s'mores, but i forgot the graham crackers. i figure i could just set it out on the balcony for a minute and it'd be ready. i'll probably try to make the salad sometime this week-let you know how it goes!

so i showed you the foot massager last night and i tried it out for a few minutes, with the tag still on so i could take it back if i wasn't impressed. then it started to come apart-the wooden pegs started coming out of the sides. so i figured out the problem and got it back together...then about an hour later, i heard something and chaco had put his signature teeth marks on it. nice. now it's a keeper, so i took the tag off and here's what was on the back.
it reminds me a little of the operation game...i don't know how accurate any of these pressure points are, but i thought i'd share them with you just in case
alright, gotta go-chaco's sitting on the footstool staring at me.

p.s. what shows or songs most take you back to your childhood?
